Focus Aviation agrees sale of MD11F
Focus Aviation is pleased to announce that it has agreed the sale of an MD-11F to CATRAN on behalf of Central Air Leasing.
The aircraft (MSN 48446) is in the final stages of conversion at the Aeronovali facility in Naples, Italy and is the first of 6 aircraft being converted by the Bermuda-based lessor. Delivery to CATRAN is scheduled for 1 December 2004.
CATRAN is a new airline based at Zurich Airport, Switzerland created by former Swissair management and staff. Otto Brunner is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
David Robinson, Focus? Executive Vice President, said:
?Central anticipated growing demand for MD-11Fs and contracted for 6 conversions and a number of options. This confidence has been borne out by the market for the type, which has strengthened considerably over the last few months. Negotiations to place further aircraft are well advanced and further announcements are expected in the near future.?
