Incident: Azul E195 at Porto Alegre on May 29th 2015, flaps and spoiler problems
An Azul Linhas Aereas Embraer ERJ-195, registration PR-AYC performing flight AD-2916 from Sao Paulo Congonhas,SP to Porto Alegre,RS (Brazil), was on approach to Porto Alegre's Salgado Filho International Airport (runway length 2280m/7480 feet) when the crew reported problems with the flaps and spoilers and decided to divert to Porto Alegre's Canoas Airbase due to the availability of a longer runway (length 2750m/9020 feet), where the aircraft landed at a higher than normal speed about 40 minutes after aborting the approach to Salgado Filho International Airport.
The airline confirmed a technical problem which prompted the crew to divert to Canoas Airbase.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 35 hours before resuming service.

An Azul Linhas Aereas Embraer ERJ-195, registration PR-AYG performing flight AD-4111 from Belo Horizonte,MG to Porto Alegre,RS (Brazil) with 113 passengers and 5 crew, was on approach to Porto Alegre's Salgado Filho International Airport (runway length 2280 meters/7480 feet) but aborted the approach due to problems with the right hand flaps. The crew subsequently decided to divert to Porto Alegre's Canoas Airbase (runway length 2750 meters/9020 feet). The aircraft landed safely at Canoas Airbase at a higher than normal speed.
The airline reported the crew diverted the aircraft due to a technical problem. The passengers were bussed to the International Airport, about 20km from Canoas Airbase.

"asymmetric flaps" ... isso é um aviso normal (não deveria, mas é). Normalmente é falsa indicação... um dos bugs do 190. No meu ver, novamente uma precipitação da tripulação. Já pousaram lá na outra vez e com a desculpa de "segurança operacional" o fizeram de novo. Se a moda pegar...
