Great Report....really nice details of the trip, in particular the pictures.
The little introduction about TAAG origins was really nice also, it really show´s you did your homework about the airline.
Thank you Jaime! Yes, I researched TAAG as much as possible before writing about it.

I honestly think that after hitting the bottom when the airline was Blacklisted, TAAG major and only shareholder (Angolan Government) realised that they need to take the business seriously. The airline is indeed in the right track, of course being a public owned company changes are slower than it would be in a private owned company.
I agree, I do think TAAG is heading in the right direction. Remember, this time last year they didn't have online check-in, didn't have a functioning website, didn't have a call-center, and had just been removed from the EU blacklist. So I'd say quite a bit of progress has been made since then!

Regarding TAAG staff, it´s a mixed crowd. There´s the really nice ones that would go out of their way to help, and there´s of course the black cheaps, I would say that this is more like a 50-50 ratio.
Keep up the good work...and let´s hear more about African Carriers...cheers.
Yeah this is what I've found. There were some TAAG employees in LAD who were EXTREMELY rude, but also ones who were EXTREMELY helpful. It was interesting.
agostinho escreveu:As you know, dear MHTripple7, i could see your report about your trip on Taag at the same site you are mentioning and i liked it very much, i hope my Taag is really following the right directoin despite some setbacks that can sometimes come up on its projects or plans, but, do not hesitate to criticise something that you don't appreciate, if your criticism is positive and Taag really want to change, they will accept it without any probls, Keep on doing this good job an if you still have something to show about your return trip to U.S.A from Windhoek calling at Luanda, we are so anxious to see that.
Obs. I didn't Know you were so young, according to your statements, i have always thought you were already on your 30's. But it is irrelevant here, we are just waiting for more. Bye.
Thanks agostinho! I took several pictures on my flight from Windhoek to Luanda on a TAAG 737-700 that I will be posting in a few days, so look out for it! Haha, nope I'm just 17 years old.
